General
What is Unlocked Client?
A free Fabric client for Minecraft 1.21.11, made for DonutSMP. It comes with an anticheat monitor, stash finder, its own chat, a region map and a clean glass interface.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is nothing to buy, no license key and no account needed to play.
Where should I download it?
Only from unlockedclient.de. Copies from other sites can be changed or contain malware.
Can I get banned for using it?
Every server has its own rules. Using client modules can be against them, so you play at your own risk.
I have an idea for a new feature.
Post it on the Suggestions page. Other players can vote, and the team marks what is planned or done.
Install & updates
How do I install it?
Create a Fabric profile for 1.21.11 in your launcher, add Fabric API, then drop the Unlocked Client jar into the
profile's mods folder and start the game.
Which launchers work?
The official Minecraft launcher, Modrinth App, Prism Launcher and MultiMC. Any launcher that runs Fabric works.
How do I open the menu?
Press Right Shift in game.
How do updates work?
When a new build is out, the main menu shows a message with the patch notes. Download the new jar and replace the old one. All changes are on the Updates page.
Do my settings stay after an update?
Yes. Your settings and configs are saved in the config folder, not in the jar.
Unlocked Chat
Do I need an account for the chat?
Only for Unlocked Chat. Create one in game: Unlocked menu → Chat tab → Register.
Can others see my Minecraft name?
No. You pick any chat name, it is not linked to your Minecraft name.
Someone is breaking the rules, what can I do?
Report the message in the chat. An auto-mod checks messages too, and the team reviews every report.
When does the team answer my ticket?
As soon as possible. You get a message in your Minecraft chat when the team replies, even if you were offline.
Problems
My game crashed, what now?
After a crash, the main menu asks if you want to send the crash report to the team. You can also drop your log into Analyze Log, it finds most problems right away.
Where do I find my log?
In your game folder: logs/latest.log, crash reports are in crash-reports.
The game does not start after installing.
Check that the profile is Minecraft 1.21.11 with Fabric, that Fabric API is in the mods folder, and that you have only one Unlocked Client jar in there.
